Custom Interior Carpentry

We had an incredible experience working on this pool house renovation project, bringing a designer’s vision to life with our commitment to excellence and attention to detail. The designer, who is also the owner of the pool house, meticulously selected every detail, making it a truly collaborative and exciting process.

Dutch Door, Custom Milled Mouldings and more…

The centerpiece of this project was the custom kitchenette, where we installed beautifully crafted cabinets that perfectly blend functionality and aesthetics. Each cabinet was custom-built to fit the unique space, ensuring a seamless integration with the overall design. Our team also custom milled large mouldings, which were more challenging to work with due to their size. Every cut had to be perfect to avoid delays, emphasizing our dedication to precision.

A standout feature of this project was the custom-made exterior Dutch door, crafted from solid mahogany. This door was particularly challenging due to the weight of each section and the need for extremely precise measurements. I used measurements down to the 1/64” to ensure the two panels swung without interfering with each other, operated in unison, and provided effective weather seals. Proper joinery and attention to detail were crucial, as was the ability to anticipate several steps ahead to avoid mistakes.

The interior design was further elevated with hand-painted wallpaper, selected to complement the custom finishes and create a cohesive, stylish atmosphere. The wallpaper adds a unique, personal touch, reflecting the owner’s taste and attention to detail. Additionally, we installed extremely heavy solid pocket doors equipped with soft open and close hardware, which provided both privacy and convenience while maintaining the sophisticated aesthetic of the space.

The customer was absolutely thrilled with the finished project. They appreciated our speedy and accurate work and valued our proactive problem-solving approach. Knowing that we anticipated and resolved potential issues before they became problems was a highlight for them.

Personally, I loved the job as a whole. The building was constructed with the most advanced and high-quality materials, which made the work even more enjoyable. Quality work truly deserves quality materials, and this project was a testament to that belief. Seeing the designer’s vision come to life and knowing that our craftsmanship met the highest standards was incredibly rewarding.
