My Carpenter recently completed a stunning kitchen remodel in Pennsylvania, transforming a space that had once showcased impressive woodwork and detail into a modern, functional, and inviting area. The original kitchen, though beautifully crafted for its time, had become dated, with a layout that was not practical and a dark stain that made the room feel small and dim.

Design, Layout & Functionality Changes Make This An Incredible Transformation

To bring new life into the space, we began by incorporating new windows with a transom to introduce more natural light. We selected a modern shaker-style cabinet door for the custom-built cabinets, finishing them in a rich hunter green color that adds both elegance and warmth. The new upper cabinets featured a mix of modern open shelving, full-to-ceiling height cabinets, glass doors, and crown moulding, creating a balanced and sophisticated aesthetic.

Complementing the cabinetry, we installed new countertops, an exquisite backsplash, and updated lighting and fixtures, all of which seamlessly integrated into the modern design. The result is a bright, airy, and stylish kitchen that perfectly marries contemporary design with functional elegance, bringing this home into a new design era.
